Participants will be provided the opportunity to network with individuals that represent many different aspects of the community including business, government, military, and volunteer organizations.  Leadership Pulaski County is designed to develop, inspire, and motivate the leaders of Pulaski County.

Junior Leadership Pulaski County

The mission of Junior Leadership Pulaski County (JrLPC) is to inspire the next generation to be community influencers by becoming their best selves now.

Program Goals

•    To encourage students to realize their own potential and develop their leadership skills.
•    To develop young leaders who will be challenged to apply their new skills through interactions with community leaders, decision makers, and peers from other schools in the area.
•    To create an environment that nurtures potential young leaders to participate in school/community service and volunteerism.
•    To increase personal and community awareness.

CHOICES Program

The CHOICES Program is a highly participatory classroom seminar, presented by local volunteers in partnership with the Waynesville-St. Robert Chamber of Commerce and Rotary Club of Pulaski County. The main goal of the CHOICES program is connecting with the students and showing them there are many things to consider when planning their futures. A core principle discussed during the presentations is self-discipline; the importance of understanding what self-discipline means and applying it to your life. The CHOICES program uses interactive exercises to help students learn the impact of their choices and how to take control of their lives through wise decision-making in different areas of life such as time and money management as well as education.

HBL - Salute to the Season

The LPC Alumni Foundation partners with the Waynesville-St. Robert Chamber and the Community of Fifty to host "Salute to the Season," a special event in December, dedicated to honoring our service men and women, who have stayed in the local community during this festive time.

As a community deeply connected to the military in Mid-Missouri, we recognize the sacrifices made by our brave servicemen and women. "Salute to the Season" seeks to create a warm and welcoming environment, bringing the holiday spirit to those who may be far from home.

This evening will include a variety of entertainment and a holiday meal to tie together the spirit of the season.   "Salute to the Season" is a testament to the spirit of community and appreciation for our military members.
